Tip: Incorporate seeds into your diet for better
health
Flax seeds and pumpkin seeds are rich in protein, fiber,
omega-3s, and
numerous vitamins and minerals. The problem is that they're nearly
impossible to eat in their raw, whole state.
To get the benefits of this excellent food source, use a small
coffee
grinder to grind the seeds to a meal. It's quick and easy, and the
ground seeds can be added to just about any food. You can add them to
salads and sandwiches, mix them with yogurt, or sprinkle them over soup.
Raw flax and pumpkin seeds are inexpensive and can be purchased in bulk
at any health food store.
